Awesome Aurthor Monday

So this week’s favorite author is….(drum roll please!) Cassandra Claire! Cassandra started out working for tabloids and entertainment magazines while writing fan-fiction under the pseudonym Cassandra Clair (her real name is Judith Rumelt) but she has always been around the big production world, that is, in between traveling around the world. Her most notable works of fiction are none other than the Mortal Instruments, but she has plenty of other published books circulating.

The Mortal Instruments

  1. City of Bones
  2. City of Ashes
  3. City of Glass
  4. City of Fallen Angels
  5. City of Lost Souls
  6. City of Heavenly Fire (scheduled to be released May 27, 2014!!)

The Infernal Trilogy

  1. Clockwork Angel
  2. Clockwork Prince
  3. Clockwork Princess

The Dark Artifices Trilogy

  1. Lady Midnight (to be released in 2015)
  2. Prince of Shadows (unknown release date)
  3. The Queen of Air and Darkness (unknown release date)

The Bane Chronicles

  1. Vampires, Scones, and Edmund Herondale
  2. The Rise and Fall of the Hotel Dumort
  3. Saving Raphael Santiago
  4. What to Buy the Shadowhunter Who has Everything (And Who You’re Not Officially Dating Anyway)

The Bane Chronicles are with the Mortal Instruments from Magnus Bane’s POV.

For those who have not read the Mortal Instruments, or have watched the movie but have not read the book (shame on you!!), you DEFINITLY need to read them. They are GREAT books and I can’t wait till the other movies. I will find out more about her books that are getting ready to be released and fill you in. But until then, Happy Readings!
